Icelandic dwelling DIY, dream-pop/weird-pop, woman with the kind of goofy charm and eccentric attire that we’ve come to know and love from the north, Katrin Helga Andresdottir aka Special-K, releases her “Thought I’d Be More Famous by Now” album. A sincere, diary of a millennial trying to find her place in the world. The album title is a comment on a generation that has been led to believe that they are in some way unique, which has in turn resulted in a delusional bunch who think they are slightly better than other people and thus that great things are bound to happen to them. When it doesn’t it becomes a moment to #deal & we love the quirky rawness and humor of this pop princess in the making.
